Madhya Pradesh ushers in 2026 as Kisan Kalyan Varsh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s bold campaign fusing modern tech, traditional wisdom, and ecological balance to elevate farmers. Launched in Burhanpur with MLA Smt. Archana Chitnis and progressive growers present, the flagship Krishi Rath rolled out amid fanfare, targeting every gram panchayat.
These mobile units deliver vital knowledge: organic natural farming, soil health cards, integrated nutrient management, pest control, crop diversification, profitable agriculture tips, departmental schemes, e token fertilizer distribution, and stubble management. Farmers learn optimal soil crop combinations to slash costs and boost yields.
In Patonda, Chinchala, and Emagird, joint teams from agriculture, KVK, animal husbandry, and cooperatives hosted Kisan Chaupals. Sessions covered e token systems, natural inputs like Jeevamrit, Beejamrit, Neemastra, Brahmastra, and Dasparni Ark preparation. Experts warned of chemical fertilizers’ soil damage, taught sampling, and urged balanced use. Zaid crops like urad and groundnut got promotion for pulses oilseeds push, alongside stubble solutions.
At Bakri village, Krishi Rath unpacked advanced techniques: organic methods, pest management, diversification, and fertilizer balance to turn farming profitable. Thursday’s Prakritik Haat Bazaar at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Mandi, Shanwara, under National Natural Farming Mission, links growers to markets. Collector Harsh Singh praised it: “Natural farming safeguards environment, hikes incomes, delivers safe nutrition, inspire others.”
