Madhya Pradesh is revolutionizing agriculture by harnessing technology to empower farmers and modernize the sector. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted AI driven digital crop surveys and Farmer Registry as game changers, establishing a transparent, authentic rural data ecosystem. Advanced tech, seamless data management, and center state coordination build a robust digital foundation, ensuring schemes deliver real benefits to tillers.
Digital crop surveys demand field presence. Photographers capture crop images on site for secure, verifiable data. Geo fencing ensures surveys occur only at actual fields. Triple layered validation via AI/ML systems and patwari oversight guarantees accuracy. Other departments leverage this data, with procurement registrations now based on it.
Even without internet, survey integrity holds. Photos undergo authenticity checks, location verification, and time bound execution. Tampering halts the process automatically. AI/ML algorithms cross verify data, minimizing human error. This fuels data driven decisions on crop area, yield estimates, and scheme implementation.
Farmer Registry emerges as an integrated digital system, centralizing identity, land details, and scheme info with full land record digitization, location based records, and multi tier checks. Each farmer receives an 11 digit unique digital ID, forging a unified digital profile for precise farmer database.
Madhya Pradesh becomes India’s first state with 100 percent Farmer Registry compliance. It secures 713 crore Rupees from the center under SCA scheme for 2025-26. This curbs duplication and fakes, laying groundwork for future digital agri initiatives. Jan Samarth portal adds easy agri loans for farmers.
Chief Minister Yadav’s vision transforms Madhya Pradesh into an agri tech vanguard. Transparent data empowers precise policies, from subsidies to credit, heralding prosperous, resilient farming. Other states must follow this blueprint to uplift India’s agrarian backbone.
