Dabra soaked in devotion as Pran Pratishtha festival enters third day.

Dabra (Gwalior): The third day of the grand consecration festival at Navgrah Shakti Peeth turned deeply devotional on Friday, with the entire town immersed in the spirit of Lord Shiva. A discourse by renowned Shiv Purana narrator Pandit Pradeep Mishra filled the atmosphere with faith and spiritual energy as thousands of devotees gathered at the venue.

During his address, he emphasized that Lord Shiva is not confined to temples but resides in a person’s belief. He explained that with true faith, divinity can be seen everywhere, saying that when devotion is sincere, every particle of creation reflects Shiva. He urged people not to differentiate between old and new temples, adding that spiritual realization depends on inner faith rather than physical structures.

True devotion lies in inner purity

He stressed that genuine devotion does not come from outward display but from purity of heart. According to him, a person becomes worthy of divine grace only after letting go of ego, jealousy, and pretension. He also said that human birth is attained through the good deeds of previous lives, but without compassion, truth, and non-violence, one cannot receive Shiva’s blessings. Offering even a small amount of water with equal devotion, he noted, carries the same spiritual value regardless of the temple.

He appealed to devotees to adopt truth, service, and restraint in daily life, describing these qualities as the highest form of worship.

Narottam Mishra praises role of saints

Festival organizer and former Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra paid tribute to Pandit Mishra and said that saints are the true protectors of Sanatan Dharma. He compared spiritual guidance to craftsmanship, stating that just as materials become complete only in the hands of experts, devotion reaches fulfillment under the guidance of a true spiritual teacher.

He added that Sanatan Dharma uniquely prays for the well being of all living beings, from the smallest creature to the largest, and that great spiritual figures keep this tradition alive in every era.

City gripped by religious fervor

For three days, Vedic rituals, fire offerings, and religious ceremonies have continued as part of the celebrations. Devotees from nearby regions also attended in large numbers, turning Navgrah Shakti Peeth into a major center of faith.

Kumar Vishwas to begin “Apne Apne Ram” discourse

From the fourth day onward, celebrated poet and storyteller Kumar Vishwas will present his popular narrative series Apne Apne Ram. The sessions will run for three days from 2 pm to 5 pm daily. Organizers have arranged special facilities for attendees.

Among those present on stage during the rituals were Bhitarwar MLA Mohan Singh Rathore, Dabra MLA Suresh Raje, and Shivpuri BJP district president Jaswant Jatav.

Cabinet Minister for Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Aidal Singh Kansana also joined the third day of the consecration celebrations.
