Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, addressing the Krishi Manthan workshop at Jabalpur’s Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University, emphasized farming as cultural bedrock not mere livelihood. “Samriddh Kisan Samriddh Madhya Pradesh” frames the year long Krishi Utsav, uniting tradition, policy, and technology.
The state leads natural farming acreage nationwide while achieving wheat production records. Yadav inaugurated Rupees 23 crore infrastructure new administrative buildings, bio fertilizer plants, skill centers signaling investment beyond subsidies. Ten agri startups received over Rupees 10 crore approvals, fostering farm to factory value chains.
