Dehradun, June 27, 2026: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the state government is firmly committed to protecting Devbhoomi’s cultural identity, spiritual character and Sanatan values. He said important decisions such as the strict anti conversion law, the Uniform Civil Code and the land law have been implemented to safeguard the state’s social and cultural fabric.
Dhami said these measures reflect the government’s resolve to preserve Uttarakhand’s spiritual identity while ensuring that the state moves forward on the path of orderly and balanced development. He said Devbhoomi is not only a land of faith and tradition, but also a living symbol of Sanatan values that must be protected for future generations.
The chief minister’s remarks come at a time when the state government is continuing to project itself as a defender of cultural heritage and a promoter of legal and administrative reforms. By linking identity, governance and law, Dhami sought to underline that development in Uttarakhand must remain rooted in its civilizational values.
He added that the state has taken strong decisions to protect its original character and to ensure that governance remains aligned with public sentiment and constitutional order. The implementation of the anti conversion law, UCC and land law, he said, is part of a broader effort to maintain harmony, discipline and public confidence.
The message was shared in a poster highlighting Dhami’s statement on cultural preservation and legal reform. It reinforced the state government’s continuing emphasis on protecting Uttarakhand’s identity while advancing its governance agenda.
