Empowering Farmers: CM Yadav’s Bhavantar Boost in Mandsaur

Mandsaur’s Malhargarh pulsed with gratitude as Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reaffirmed farmers as the true helmsmen of Madhya Pradesh’s culture and economy. “Farmers worry endlessly about their fields, rain or shine,” he said at the Annadatta Samman Samaroh. Good harvests bring year long greenery. Disasters spell drought. But no more. His government stands as their shield. The Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana honors their penance, ensuring soybean growers get full crop value. Today, he transferred Rs 200 crore to 1.17 lakh farmers’ accounts, with Rs 43 crore reaching 27,000+ in Mandsaur alone. Since inception, Rs 1500 crore has flowed to over 7.1 lakh soybean farmers. MP pioneered this nationwide.

Yadav handed checks to five Mandsaur farmers, like Raghuvier Singh (Rs 95000) and Mukesh Patidar (Rs 73000), symbolizing direct relief. Mandsaur leads in white, green, and blue revolutions, its garlic world famous. He pledged to extend Bhavantar to mustard and groundnut, tying into Krishi Kalyan Varsh 2026. Value addition via agri industries and food processing will boost incomes, with PM Mitra Park in Dhar benefiting 6 lakh cotton farmers and creating youth jobs.

Infrastructure gifts abounded. Rs 58 crore for a four lane flyover on Mandsaur Neemuch highway, Rs 5.53 crore railway underbridge at Piplia Mandi, and inauguration of a Rs 2.06 crore underpass. Bhuvani Mata Temple gets restoration. Kaka Gadgil Sagar Dam becomes a tourist hub. In a heartfelt moment, he gave compassionate appointment to Sanjay Singh, son of late Manohar Singh Chauhan, who heroically saved four lives in a drowning car accident at the cost of his own.

Broader promises shine. 2.5 lakh jobs in five years (60000 of 1 lakh pledged already filled), doubled state budget, Ladli Behna aid hiked to Rs 1500 monthly, medical/nursing colleges in Mandsaur Neemuch. Every village connects via paved roads. Gandhi Sagar waters every field, per Deputy CM Jagdish Devda. MP’s organic cotton prowess and cheetah sightings at Kuno add to its allure.

As Yadav invokes PM Modi’s guidance, MP farmers are not just surviving. They are thriving. Bhavantar is not aid. It is respect for sweat and resilience. This vision turns fields into fortunes.
