Dehradun, September 29, 2026: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted with young participants travelling to Haryana under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and flagged off their service journey from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Dehradun.
Dhami said such programmes give Uttarakhand’s youth an opportunity to closely understand the culture, lifestyle, local strengths, development initiatives and innovative practices of different states.
Learning Across States
The Chief Minister said exposure to other parts of the country would help young participants broaden their understanding and learn from successful models of development and public service.
He also described the journey as a platform for cultural exchange. While the participants learn about Haryana’s traditions, local practices and development initiatives, they can also introduce people in other states to Uttarakhand’s distinctive identity.
Creators Asked to Promote Uttarakhand
Dhami urged the young creators travelling to Haryana to document and share the state’s culture and effective practices. At the same time, he asked them to showcase Uttarakhand’s:
- Rich cultural heritage.
- Folk traditions.
- Natural heritage.
- Development opportunities.
- Distinctive social identity.
He said the exchange would strengthen mutual understanding among young people from different states and help present Uttarakhand’s heritage and potential to a wider audience.
