Bhopal’s Subhash Excellent School buzzed with pride on Wednesday as Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav lauded Madhya Pradesh teachers as timeless beacons. Lamps that burn themselves to illuminate young lives. Speaking at the Madhya Pradesh Teachers’ Union state level educational quality conference, he credited their relentless efforts for record improvements in government school exam results, surging enrollments, and a dropout rate reduced to zero. “Yugas change, centuries pass, but teachers’ respect endures,” he declared, underscoring their unmatched contribution to nation building.
Under CM Yadav’s leadership, MP has blazed trails in education. The state pioneered the National Education Policy 2020 implementation, fast tracking AI, coding, and skill based learning for the next generation. Sandipani Schools and PM Shri institutions are setting new benchmarks, with 200 new Sandipani Schools slated to open this session alone. Teacher welfare remains a priority. Dearness allowances for 1.5 lakh educators, time scale pay scales, and a historic Rs 322 crore one time grant for fourth pay scale upgrades. Even university vice chancellors now bear the revered title of “Kulaguru.”
The event brimmed with symbolism. CM Yadav honored retired educators like his own physics teacher, Smt. Kokila Singh, touching her feet for blessings. He inaugurated a union exhibition, released calendars, diaries, and the booklet Hamara Vidyalaya Hamara Tirth, and received accolades for pro teacher decisions. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh echoed the triumphs. Quality infrastructure, zero dropouts, and rising admissions signal a department hitting new heights.
As India eyes Viksit Bharat, MP’s story from Chandra Shekhar Azad’s roots in Jhabua to Vikramaditya and Raja Bhoj’s legacies reminds us that great leaders emerge from government classrooms under teacher guidance. With rationalization of over 22,000 posts smoothly executed and unemployment among India’s lowest, the state is scripting an education renaissance. Teachers are not just educators. They are architects of tomorrow. CM Yadav’s vision ensures their flame burns ever brighter.
