Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer over Rupeess 1836 crore to the bank accounts of more than 1.25 crore Ladli Behna beneficiaries on Friday at the Sharbari Mata Temple in Gwalior’s Ghatigaon. This 34th installment of Rupeess 1500 per woman underscores the state’s unwavering commitment to women’s economic empowerment since the scheme’s launch in June 2023.
Sustained Financial Lifeline
From June 2023 to February 2026, 33 prior installments totaling Rupees 54140 crore have directly bolstered household finances, instilling economic confidence and social dignity among recipients aged 21 to 60. November 2025 onwards, monthly aid rose from Rupees 1250 by Rupees 250, reflecting proactive adaptation to inflation and living costs. This direct benefit transfer model ensures transparency, minimizing leakages while amplifying purchasing power in rural and urban economies alike.
Beyond Cash, Holistic Upliftment Vision
The government envisions evolving Ladli Behna from mere financial aid into a comprehensive ecosystem linking women to skill development, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities. By fostering self reliance, beneficiaries can drive family and community progress, aligning with Viksit Bharat’s women led development paradigm. The budgeted commitment of Rupees 23882 crore in 2026 indicates long term scalability and establishes Madhya Pradesh as a national leader in gender inclusive growth.
Infrastructure Synergy in Gwalior
During the conclave, Dr. Yadav will inaugurate 19 projects worth Rupees 62 crore including the Rupees 40 crore Sandipani Government Higher Secondary School in Kuleth and a high level bridge over Sank River and lay foundation stones for 35 ventures costing Rupees 60 crore. Key initiatives feature a 100 seater labor rest house near ISBT, an Ambedkar Dham museum phase two, and urban rural roads alongside an Ayurvedic college anatomy hall and Bhitarwar shopping complex, catalyzing Gwalior’s multifaceted progress.
This seamless blend of welfare and development exemplifies strategic governance, transforming Madhya Pradesh’s daughters into architects of Amrit Kaal prosperity.
