Adi Shankaracharya’s Philosophy: Foundation of India’s Spiritual Unity

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the five day Ektaam Parv (April 17th to 21st  at Omkareshwar’s Ektaam Dhaam, celebrating Adi Shankaracharya’s manifestation festival on Vaishakh Shukla Panchami. Hailing Shankaracharya’s Advaita Vedanta as the bedrock of Indian culture, religion, and spiritual oneness, he traced Madhya Pradesh’s legacy from Lord Ram’s Chitrakoot exile to Krishna’s Sandeepani Ashram and Shankaracharya’s enlightenment under Guru Govindapad.

Under PM Narendra Modi’s guidance, the state aligns welfare with Sanatan principles and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s integral humanism. Initiatives like Mata Yashoda Yojana (free school milk) and Dr. Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana (dairy boost) embody Antyodaya. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav released “Vedanta Siddhanta Chandrika with Udgra” and launched the Ektaam Dhaam website, alongside Advaita exhibitions and short films.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati (Dwarka Sharada Peeth) praised the oneness vision “Brahma, Bhagwan, and Atma are one; serve Gaumata, Dharti Mata.” Nivedita Bhide (Vivekananda Kendra) linked Vedas to quantum physics, urging unity in diversity. Swami Shardanand Saraswati highlighted Shankaracharya’s global legacy.

Omkareshwar evolves as Global Center of Oneness: 108 ft statue (2023), 2,400 crore Advaita Lok museum, 2,000 trees planted.

Highlights: Adwaitamritam dialogues on Gen-Z Advaita, AI, environment; Shankar Doot initiation for 700 plus youth (April 21); Ektaam Yatra (Jan to Apr 2027) from Kaladi.
